The Under 19s resumed their league campaign against Rangers on Saturday lunchtime.  The Light Blues raced into a 3-0 lead after only 29 minutes thanks to a double from their man of the match Callum Gallagher and a 25 yard effort from Kamil Wiktorski. 

7 mins The first goal came from the penalty spot. GALLAGHER

16 mins Callum GALLAGHER won the ball in midfield and advanced on goal, held off a challenge to slot past Ryan Goodfellow

29 mins Ball defended to WIKTORSKI who returned a shot that gave the keeper little chance.

Half Time: Dunfermline 0 Rangers 3

The Pars started brighter in the second half and put the visitors under some pressure which was lacking in the first.

51 mins Dunfermline scored - a good pass from Ross Millen into the inside right channel and Allan SMITH chased down and showed good strength to turn the defender and cut in to shoot across the goalkeeper with the inside of the right foot.

55 mins Rangers missed a penalty - header short from Scott Campbell and Ryan Goodfellow brought down the striker. Ryan made amends by saving penalty with his legs.

Dunfermline continued to create a few decent chances but Rangers always looked dangerous on the break.

65 mins Rangers scored - corner from the right low into the box and Canadian under-19 international Luca GASPAROTTO got his foot to the ball to beat Goodfellow.

70 mins double sub for the Pars - Fraser Moncrieff for Ross Drummond and Scott Mercer for Chris Hackland, into same positions.

Rangers ended the game comfortable but Dunfermline did better in second half.  First half the damage was done.
