2.1 The Website is operated and owned by us,
Dunfermline Athletic Football Club Limited, registered No SCO11580 and having our registered office at East End Park, Halbeath Road, Dunfermline, Scotland KY12 7RB (‘DAFC’) By using our Website or submitting information to us by writing to us, via email, over the telephone, or by any other method you:
2.1.1 agree to accept the data protection practices contained in this Policy; and
2.1.2 consent to our collecting and processing of your Personal Information in accordance with this Policy.

3 Your Personal Information
3.1 When you use the Website we may ask you to provide us with certain personal information which may include your contact information (such as your name, email and postal address and telephone number(s)), or such other personal information as we reasonably require from you depending on the purpose of your enquiry (“Personal Information”).

4 Use of your Personal Information
4.1 We may use the information that you provide or that we collect for the following purposes:
4.1.1 to record you as a football supporter, patron, season ticket holder, user of hospitality or a sponsor or potential business partner;
4.1.2 to record details of donors and a members of the public who have expressed an interest or have provided help or support towards securing the long term stability and future of the DAFC;
4.1.3 to notify you about matters concerning DAFC, the Supporters’ Council and Patron’s Council which form part of the governance structure of DAFC and to notify you about matters concerning Pars United Community Interest Company, Black and White Limited, or any other subsidiary of DAFC or Pars United, The Centenary Club Lifeline, the 1885 Business Club, any Supporters Clubs approved by DAFC or the Pars Supporters Trust including any special offers that may be of interest to you;
4.1.4 to enable us from time to time to enter into arrangements with a limited number of carefully chosen partners where, having taken reasonable steps to verify the benefits, we consider that such arrangements will offer a degree of mutual benefit to you and to DAFC. This may include setting up special offers with chosen partners that we believe may be of interest to you;
4.1.5 to ensure all content from the Website is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer;
4.1.6 for detecting and protecting against error, fraud or other criminal activity; and
4.1.7 in any other way as described to you at the time of collection of your Personal Information.

5 Accessing your Personal Information
For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998 as amended (“DPA”), we are the ‘Data Controller’ and confirm that we comply with the provisions of the DPA.
5.1 Under the DPA, you have the right to ask in writing, for a copy of the Personal Information that we hold about you. If required we will provide you with a readable copy of any Personal Information that we hold. We are allowed to charge you a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the Personal Information we hold about you.
5.2 Should you ask us to delete, correct or amend that Personal Information we will do so within a reasonable time. It is your responsibility to notify us of any updates or changes to your Personal Information. Should you ever have any questions regarding your Personal Information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

6 Keeping your Personal Information secure
6.1 We will protect your Personal Information from unauthorised access, misuse, alteration or loss by using commercially reasonable security measures. This complies with our obligations under the DPA.
6.2 Where we have given you a password which allows access to certain areas of the Website, you are responsible for keeping this password secret. Your password is strictly confidential and can only be known and used by you, the registered user. Anyone who shares or reveals their password is violating the conditions of this Privacy Policy and your agreement with us. This will result in an automatic termination of any right to use any password protected part of the Website.
6.3 We will always do our best to protect your Personal Information. Unfortunately, due to the risk of unauthorised interception, transmission of information via the internet is not always completely secure. In common with other providers of similar services we remind you that any transmission will be at your own risk as we cannot guarantee the security of any data transmitted to our Website.

We do not collect Personal Information from any person we actually know is under the age of 18 except in conjunction with the consent of the child’s parent or guardian and then only for the limited purpose required, for example a season ticket.
