21/12/11: Club statement on standing and safe seating

Statement re standing and safe seating areas

Further to the SPL statement the Board of Dunfermline Athletic Football Club would like to clarify that they have requested an evaluation of the implications of converting an area of their ground to a standing area. This evaluation will obviously look at the costings of any conversion.

The Board would also have to liaise with Fife Council re alterations to their Safety Certificate and also would have to involve discussions with the Police as Police consent would have to be sought. It is planned that this report will be discussed at our next scheduled Board Meeting in the New Year.
