Ben Summers

In August 2023 Ben Summers joined the club on loan from Celtic. The nineteen year old had risen through the Celtic academy from the age of seven.  He has played mainly for Celtic B but made his first team debut at the end of last season.

Signing his first professional contract with the club in June 2020, Ben was selected for the B team at the start of the 2021/22 Lowland League season, whilst also playing for the under-18’s. 

Initially coming off the bench in the B team’s Lowland League campaign the attacking midfielder then became a regular in the starting eleven. He made 22 appearances in the Lowland League last season.

Summers made his Celtic debut on 16 April 2023, substituted on in 88th minute of the 4–1 win away to Kilmarnock. He played the last eleven minutes of the final Premier League game of the 2022-2023 season at home to Aberdeen

Summers was included in the Scotland under 21 squad for the first time in March 2023 and made his debut in a friendly match against Sweden.

After two substitute appearances in August 2023 he made his Dunfermline debut at Inverness at the start of the following month. He scored his first Dunfermline goal in the 2024 New Year derby against Raith Rovers.
