PARS SUPPORTERS TRUST

The Dunfermline Athletic Supporters Society Limited (also known as the Pars Supporters Trust) was established in 2004. Its vision is to focus the support and passion for the Pars through the PST to influence the key issues affecting the common goals of Dunfermline Athletic supporters and the surrounding community.

Its purpose is that the profit for all will be watching the Pars going from strength to strength by aiding the development of local, future talent from within our community and surrounding areas.

Its aim is to unite all Pars supporters across the generations on a common platform to develop and deliver our support for the maximum benefit of our Club and the Communities in which we live by providing both financial and volunteer support.

The Pars Supporters Trust is a ‘not for profit’ organisation. Since 2013, the PST has provided supporters not only with a platform to achieve the acquisition of Dunfermline Athletic FC by Pars United CIC, but also to support the Club through Administration with various donations and fundraising initiatives by raising over £200,000 in just 9 months. It continues to provide funding in and around East End Park for specific projects.

Two Pars United CIC Board member positions are held by the PST. The Pars Supporters Trust is also represented on the Board of DAFC by its Chair, Drew Main. Its members also provide numerous volunteers who help in the stadium on matchdays and beyond.

The Pars Supporters Trust currently has over 300 members and is an open and engaging organisation. The PST always welcomes new members who, for a minimum of £20 per year, gain a vote which, through its AGM, can directly influence DAFC.

🎄Pars Supporters Trust Christmas Message 🎄

As the year draws to a close and the nights draw in it’s a chance to reflect on what has been a successful, busy, and rewarding year for both the football club and the PST. We have seen a fantastic upswing in membership, our best year of recruitment since 2016. We hosted the hugely successful Walking Down the Halbeath Road play by Mike Gibb at the start of this year, which funded the PST family zone in the Norrie stand concourse. We also hosted a wine tasting in conjunction with our friends at the Juniper Wine Cafe, putting funds into the Margaret Ross Memorial fund which has been able to support the academy players with GPS tracking to aid their development.

At KDM Group East End Park we were treated to promotion in style with James and his team breaking all sorts of records on our return to the Championship at the first time of asking. This season has been blighted with injuries, nevertheless we find ourselves at the right end of the table, long may that continue!

Your support is always appreciated both by the PST board and the players on the pitch. I hope you and yours have a wonderful festive period and I would like to wish you all the very best for 2024. Come on ye Pars!

Drew Main
PST Chairman and DAFC Board member.
