Player of the Year awards 2024

Saturday night saw supporters, players and staff join together for the annual Centenary Club Player of the Year Awards night at the Carnegie Conference Centre, Dunfermline.

Supporters clubs got the chance to hand out their awards with representatives from The Dunfermline Athletic Supporters Club, Dunfermline Athletic Disabled Supporters Club, Pars Supporters Trust, 1885 Business Club and Section North West. Chris Hamilton, Ewan Otoo and Josh Edwards picking up the awards across various categories.

A new award was added to the line up, the Living True Sportsmanship Award, for the player who exhibited key actions in the pillars of Determination, Accountability, Fairness and Community.

We were also pleased to host the annual induction to the Dunfermline Athletic Hall of Fame. Previous inductees Stewart Petrie and Ian Westwater welcomed Ivo Den Bieman and Greg Shields.

Centenary Club Chair, Karyn Rennie, commented: “It was another great evening to celebrate the annual Player of the Year Awards. Hosted by Steven Mill, the evening started with presentations from DAFC groups such as DASC, PST, Section North West, 1885 Business Club and Disabled Supporters Club. There were two special inductees to the DAFC Hall of Fame; Ivo den Beiman and Greg Shields. Both gentleman spoke fondly about their time at Dunfermline.
