Sunday, 1st Jun 2014

DAFC Season Tickets are now on sale for the 204-15 season, in which the young Pars team will be looking to build on the progress of the last year, and secure promotion to the Championship.

Jim Jefferies has moved quickly and secured three new exciting signings from our main rivals, which has provided a big boost to the supporters.

Jim Jefferies has moved quickly and secured three new exciting signings from our main rivals, which has provided a big boost to the supporters.

Jim Jefferies commented “We’re in this together – we are on the cusp of creating something really special at our club. It is crucial however that we maintain that momentum despite narrowly missing out on promotion this year. I would urge as many supporters as possible to back our club by purchasing a season ticket for next season.”

Two fresh initiatives for the coming season include free season tickets for all under 12’s (if accompanied by an adult) plus an armed forces and emergency services 6 match block ticket.

As part of the “we’re in this together” campaign, our club is delighted to report that our local branch of Specsavers in the High street, has kindly agreed to sponsor the season ticket wallets for next season which will be available in the Club Shop in July.

Ross McArthur, DAFC Director highlighted “it is fantastic that the “we’re in this together” message has also resonated with local businesses, and DAFC is delighted to work with Specsavers in securing sponsorship for our season ticket wallets. I would like to thank Andrew and Grace Hepburn at Specsavers for assisting our club at this time as we look to rebuild our relationship with a number of local businesses.”

Andy Hepburn, Optometrist Director at Specsavers commented “we are delighted to help out and offer our support to DAFC next season, by offer this sponsorship. A successful Pars benefits everyone in our local business community and we wish DAFC every success for the new season.

Andy and Lynn Mitchell, Optical Assistant at Specsavers were recently visited by DAFC First Team Coach, John Potter to thank them for their support but also to ensure he could “keep his eye on the ball”.

John Potter stated “as a local boy, it is great for me to see more local businesses engage with our club, such as specsavers, as it is indeed a further sign we are indeed a true community club and that …….we’re in this together.”
