Fantastic teamwork from grassroots up

The Board would like to thank all of our supporters who attended Saturday's match against Brechin City, including our guests in hospitality, despite the atrocious weather and various traffic difficulties in the region.

For a number of reasons it was important that the game went ahead, which was the result of fantastic teamwork from our club staff and match day volunteers.

In particular, we would like to place on record our sincere thanks to the ground staff, Willie and Kevin who have worked very hard this week to ensure the match had the best chance of going ahead.

Willie was in at 7am on Saturday morning to work on the surface and considering the amount of rain that has fallen in the last 36 hours, the pitch was in fantastic shape. The referee supervisor even remarked on the condition of the pitch before the match commenced.

It is great to see the teamwork on and off the pitch at East End Park.
