Staff Changes at East End Park

Friday, 12th Oct 2018

DAFC would like to announce a couple of changes in terms of our match day backroom staff.

After many years of service, Safety Officer, Kenny Arnott is leaving his role and will be replaced by Walter Logie. Former Match Commander, John Lawson who retired from Police Scotland will support Walter as our Club’s Deputy Safety Officer.

Chairman, Ross McArthur stated “I would firstly like to thank Kenny for his service to our club over many years and wish him well in the future. I am delighted Walter has agreed to take on the role, as his professionalism is second to none having worked closely with Vice Chairman, Billy Braisby and me over the last few years. I am also delighted that John has agreed to take on the role to support Walter, and his knowledge and experience adds a different ingredient to our Safety Team.

Spectator safety and comfort cannot be taken for granted, and the risks involved in staging a match nowadays are wide and varied.

On behalf of everyone at our club, I would like to wish Walter and John well in their new roles"
