Dunfermline Athletic are drawn at away against Morton in the second round of the Scottish Cup.
The draw for the second round of this season’s Scottish Cup took place on Monday 28th December. The draw was made by Andy Webster.
There will be 20 second round matches taking place with teams from the SPFL Championship, including last season’s cup finalists Hearts, and teams from League One entering for the first time. The draw is as follows:-
Kelty Hearts v Stranraer
Keith v Clyde
Arbroath v Falkirk
Dumbarton v Huntly or Cumbernauld Colts
Stirling Albion v Raith Rovers
Buckie Thistle v Inverness Caley Thistle
Forfar Athletic v Linlithgow Rose

Formartine United v Annan Athletic
Nairn County v Montrose
Elgin City v Ayr United

Alloa Athletic v Cove Rangers
Airdrieonians v Edinburgh City
Peterhead v Stenhousemuir
Fraserburgh v Banks of Dee
Morton v DUNFERMLINE
Partick Thistle v Cowdenbeath
Queens Park v Queen of the South
The ties will be played over the weekend of January 9 and 10 with the Premiership sides due to enter at the third round stage.
For this season only there are no replays which mean games that end in a draw after 90 minutes will go to extra-time and penalties if required.
This means that Dunfermline will travel twice to Cappielow in the space of what will be a busy week. The Championship match will be televised on BBC Scotland on Friday 15th January and in between will play Hearts on the Tuesday evening at Tynecastle Park.
Dunfermline have faced Morton five times in the Scottish Cup and have won twice, both times at East End Park.
