Your chance to play for the Pars against Falkirk!

Rivals are delighted to team up with Falkirk and Dunfermline Athletic Football Clubs to give their fans a great opportunity to play for their heroes against their bitter rivals on the hallowed turf of The Falkirk Stadium on June 4th.

Not only do they become footballers for the day which will include their own strip, match-day programmes and the chance to run out in front of family and friends, they will also receive the match DVD and action photos to treasure for many years to come. The Pars Foundation Coaches will look after the DAFC team and look to lead their teams to glory over the Falkirk Fans Teams managed by The Falkirk Foundation’s Coaches with a few possible guests to motivate the players.

The Pars Foundation will be running trials throughout march with the final team being picked by the coaches in April. Jim Leishman was delighted to see the rivalry reignited while promoting the event and knows that the DAFC fans have so much passion that they will be a hard team to beat and go out to bring silverware back to East End Park on June 4th. Once the players have been selected for the squad there will be training sessions with Pars Foundation coaches Gregor Tennant, Garry Wright and Matty Castle with some well-known faces around East End Park making guest appearances to motivate and help the fans to another win over their rivals.

On Sunday June 4th we will have two matches, the first match will be for over 18 men whilst the second match will be for over 18 ladies, anyone who wishes to register their interest in playing all you need to do is visit www.rivals2gether.co.uk and register.

Money raised from the game will go directly to the clubs foundations to help them continue the fantastic work they do in the local communities.

Over the past 10 years since Rivals started, it has provided hundreds of players with one of the best days of their lives, by allowing them to live out the dream of playing for their club whilst raising over £100,000 for charity
