The Fourth Round of the Irn-Bru Challenge Cup brings Gus MacPherson`s Queens Park on a rare visit to East End Park. It will be eighth in the Championship v eighth in League One. A division apart the sides have similar league records, played eight, won two, drawn one and lost five. The only difference the Parswith two off better goal difference but while Dunfermline has scored 11 league goals, their opponents have only found the net five times. .

Queens Park have won seen off Kilmarnock U20 (5-2), Partick Thistle U20 (0-0 and 6-5 on penalties) and Morton (2-0) to reach this stage of the competition. Dunfermline saw off Brechin City 5-1 in their only involvement so far. The home draw against the Spiders was a very welcome one since the last sixteen includes two teams from Wales and two from Northern Ireland whose strengths are relatively unknown.
