Last time the Pars travelled to Palmerston in March this year, goals from Willie McLaren and David Weatherston separated the teams but that was the first home win in Dumfries in this fixture since 1986!  There is also the matter of revenge for three successive Alba Challenge Cup knock outs that QOS have inflicted on the Pars in front of their East End Park audience.  In the last dozen league meetings Dunfermline have won eight, lost three and drawn one.
