Pars midfielder goes out on loan to Albion Rovers
In an attempt to give him the chance of first team football, Paul Allan has gone out to League Two side Albion Rovers on a season long loan with a recall option in January.
Paul was a 73rd minute sub in the Betfred Cup tie at Kilmarnock and he spent last season at Brechin City where he impressed making 21 appearances. The 20 year old is a graduate of Fife Elite Academy and had previously had loan spells at Stenhousemuir in August 2017 to Hill of Beath in January 2018.
At Albion Rovers he could be playing in front of former Pars and East Fife keeper, Ryan Goodfellow.
Paul joins team mates Matty Todd and Scott Cusick who are out on loan to Brechin City.

Earlier this week Stevie Crawford discussed the loan of striker Gabby McGill to Edinburgh City.
“Now that we are nearing the end of October, I felt that it was right for him in his development to get out and fight for some game time at Edinburgh City. There is no guarantee in it but hopefully he will get some game time and possibly score some goals. Just because you go down to a lower division it doesn’t mean that you are going to score goals.

“When I looked into it, I have brought in Declan (McManus) and Kevin (O’Hara) as strikers, we have Lewis McCann and we can adapt by playing Ryan Dow and Dom Thomas up there. So I think we have options there between now and January. We want to get Gabby in the best place possible that he comes back ready to be chapping on the door to get into the first team.
“I know some people might look at it and say that we only have three recognised strikers but I don’t see it that way. Ryan Dow has played there a number of times in his career already and there are different ways of playing the role of striker. I think that we have adequate cover there.”
