Contracted to May 2013
Paddy, a former Scotland Under 19 cap, started his career with Livingston before moving to Everton's Youth Academy is 2003 eventually signing a professional contract at Goodison Park in July 2005. Paddy was released by Everton at the end of the 2007/2008 season and after making three appearances as a trialist for Dumbarton he joined the side that would go on to win the Third Division title early in 2009. Paddy played in total 20 times for Dumbarton as an excellent finish to the season allowed them to the lift the Third Division title on the final day of the season.
The left back then joined Partick Thistle where he caught the eye of Jim McIntyre and he became a Dunfermline player for the start of the 2011-12 SPL season.
After a season on loan at Gateshead Paddy left the Pars in the summer of 2013.
