The sum she has raised is a fantastic amount and her overall dedication and commitment stood out to the Pars fans and to us. This is undoubtedly the hardest category for us to judge. but we felt that Marvyn’s efforts merited the award and we are delighted that she has now also joined the SFSA too!”
Ross McArthur, DAFC Chairman stated “I have thanked Marvyn many times privately, but I would like to take this opportunity to warmly congratulate Marvyn Stewart, as it is a richly deserved award and on behalf of everyone associated with our club, I would also like to thank Marvyn for everything she has done for DAFC since our club came out of administration. I remember Marvyn saying to me that this award was not just for her, but for all of the Pars fans who stood together to help our club. Indeed, that help is as much needed today as it ever was.”
Marvyn summed up her feelings by saying “I would like to thank everybody for making Tuesday night at East End Park possible, it was undoubtedly, one of the football highlights of my life. You will never know how proud I was as a Pars fan receiving that award.”
