Mark Connolly signs for Dunfermline

Dunfermline Athletic are pleased to announce the signing of Mark Connolly from Dundee United. The 29 year old Irishman joins the Pars on loan until January.
The 6’1” defender has gathered a vast amount of first team experience at Crawley Town, Kilmarnock as well as at United. He started his journey to senior football in his home town with Monaghan United and played youth football in England with Wolves and Bolton Wanderers.
He gained international recognition with 17 appearances for the Republic’s U17 and U19s as well as 7 starts for the U21s.
Mark made 29 appearances for Dundee United last season and his last competitive match was in the 0-0 draw between St Mirren and Dundee United on 11th September this year.
Mark is available for selection ahead of tonight`s Fife Derby.
