Under 20s coach John Potter gave his thoughts after his side went down to a disappointing 3-0 defeat at home to their Inverness Caley Thistle counterparts on Tuesday night.

"It is the poorest that we have been all season. I am really disappointed because we just never started at all. They looked hungrier, they moved the ball better, clearly the better team in the first half and deserved to be in front. We were lucky to go in just 1-0 down.

"The first two goals were lost from corners when we were not aggressive enough in the box. We were a little better in the second half but they were comfortable in the end.

"There was not the same spark as we had against Dundee United a fortnight ago. They have been training well since and worked hard.

Lewis Martin breaks his nose

"Lewis Martin has gone off to the hospital with a broken nose. He might be out for a week or two but they have to check eye sockets and jaws are okay but at the moment he does not look too clever."

Potts considered Ryan Williamson was his best performer on the night:-

"He was excellent and possibly the only one with pass marks tonight. Gav McMillan did well when he came on for twenty minutes near the end. We had a number of corners tonight; Scott Mercer's deliveries were good but we need to attack the ball better in both boxes. They did have a big team compared to us but we should still be attacking the ball, it is something that we will have to work on."
