Andy Geggan had a miserable 26th birthday on Wednesday but hopes that there is something for him to celebrate on Saturday night after the second leg of the First Division play off against Forfar Athletic.  He is well aware of the importance of the game which is now billed as the biggest game of the season:-

"We need to turn it around big time after Wednesday" said Andy who claimed:-

"It was probably the worst birthday I have ever had, except from the morning with my family. It wasn't great, it was embarrassing to be honest, especially going three nil down. We got the goal in the second half which keeps us in the game. I didn't really feel great at all ."

Andy has experience of the play offs last year with Ayr United and described that as "brutal":-

"It was the exact same, when you are the First Division team it is definitely harder. Last year it was really hard and it was Airdrie who put us out. I scored in the game and thought we had a chance, but it wasn't to be. When you are the First Division team there are higher expectations and we will just have to see what happens tomorrow.

"We should have been used to the pitch at Forfar as we train on one like that at the School, but I don't think a lot of the boys knew the type of game we were in for. I don't think a lot of the boys have been in the play offs, but I knew that it was going to be a right, tight hard game. I was glad to see the first half finished. It was like a wake up call to the boys and we came out and proved it in the second half and we got our goal. The boys know what is at stake tomorrow anyway. We need to go for it from the first whistle."

Having previously called famously on the support to bring their hamsters, Andy said:-

"They need bring anything tomorrow - even a mannequin. We will get a good support and hopefully get the stadium full. There was a good feeling in training today and the Manager has been encouraging us. A lot of the boys were brought down to earth at half time when the Manager went through them - he did really go through us and so did Neil McCann. After that obviously the boys got a "kick up the backside"

Although Andy and Josh Falkingham have had bad experiences in the play offs, Craig Dargo on the otherhand has had a good experience. Asked if they had had any encouragement from Craig.

"We were talking about it the other day, he was with Dumbarton last year and he said that it was harder for the First Division team because the underdogs just go out and play and whatever happens happens - they have had a good season anyway. It's a different story for the First Divison team.

"I don't think we have had any luck all season, everything just seems to go against us. At the start of the season it was brilliant and then everything just went against us. I don't even think we have had decent decisions from referees!"
