Middlesbrough striker joins the club.

Dunfermline Athletic Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of highly rated striker, Gabby McGill from Middlesbrough on a 2 year contract after agreeing development compensation, after Boro’ previously bought him from York City.

Gabby is an instinctive goal scorer with a great work rate and desire. He has spent the last two seasons in Middlesbrough’s category 1 Academy system.

He scored 16 goals in 19 games last season, including four goals against Manchester United and he also scored against Manchester City.

Gabby and his family recently visited our club to have a look around, and is now looking forward to playing first team football at East End Park.

We would like to thank Middlesbrough for their cooperation and wish them well for next season in their quest to return to the Premiership.
