Dunfermline Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of Declan McManus.
Declan McManus returns to East End Park on two year deal. The former Morton striker first joined the Pars on 15th June 2017 after leaving relegated Raith Rovers. Declan had a successful year but following Dunfermline’s narrowly defeat to Dundee United in the play offs he left to join Ross County.
Declan who will be 26 next month, spent last season banging in 24 goals while on loan at Falkirk. He said:-
“I am buzzing, delighted to be back and I feel that there is unfinished business for me here. I really really enjoyed my year here and leaving at the time wasn’t an option that was easily taken.”
Manager Stevie Crawford said:-
“To bring in Declan McManus, who had a spell at the club a few years ago, is good because he is very popular with the supporters and he wears his heart on his sleeve.“
More reaction from Stevie to follow this evening.
