A happy anniversary for young Pars keeper

Cammy Gill celebrated his 18th birthday by signing a new one year contract with Dunfermline Athletic. The young goalkeeper joined at Under 11 level from Edinburgh South Boys Club having been spotted by Dave Westwood and has been here ever since. Speaking exclusively to the website Cammy said:-

"I was delighted to be offered a contract and another year is a perfect opportunity for me to progress and see what happens from there. I would like more game time in the 20s but not just settle for that I need to push myself as much as I can.

"This was my last year as an apprentice and my goal was to try and achieve a contract at the end of the two years. I am happy that I have been able to do that.

"I am really looking forward to next season when the club is in the Championship. This wasn't planned to happen on my birthday but it has all fallen into place perfectly. "
