Business Club continue driving DAFC forward.

DAFC are delighted to announce that the 1885 Business Club has again agreed to sponsor the First Team Match Day Bus for the coming season.

1885 Chairman, Garry Davidson stated "we are absolutely delighted to be able to support our club again this season, by offering to cover the cost of match day travel as it is an important part of match day preparation, particularly when you consider some of the long distance journeys. Our loyal and supportive membership allow us to provide this type of commitment to DAFC so I thank all of our members for their continued support, making this type of sponsorship possible. ".

DAFC Chairman, Ross McArthur said "on behalf of the DAFC Board, I would like to thank Garry, William and the 1885 Business Club once again for their support of the team by sponsoring the Team Bus for another season. Their assistance is invaluable in helping us meet the costs associated with match day travel – which this season are pretty lengthy, as it includes five trips to the Highlands. Our thanks to the 1885 members for their ongoing support, it is very much appreciated.

I would also like to take this opportunity again to thank our friends at Bay Travel for continuing to support our club by supplying a fantastic coach for match days.”

1885 Dunfermline Athletic Business Club was formed to engage the business community of Dunfermline and West Fife to create a networking group of like-minded business and retired business people who have an affinity with Dunfermline Athletic Football Club.

The two main aims of the 1885 Club are to raise funds and assist Dunfermline Athletic to maximise its potential on the playing field and support community and charity events linked to DAFC.

The next networking event is on 30th August when BBC’s Judith Ralston will be the guest speaker.
