Stuart has been at Dunfermline for twelve seasons from the age of eight. He signed a full time contract in April 2016.
Even before that Stuart had played between 30 and 40 under 20s matches.
He made his debut for the 20s up at Inverness just days after his sixteenth birthday. It was also against Inverness that he made both his Dunfermline cup and the league debut.
Stuart’s debut was at Inverness in the Irn Bru Cup in August 2018 and his league debut was at Inverness on 4th May 2019.
Loaned out to Edinburgh City on 2nd August 2017, Stuart made 23 appearances for the Scottish League Two side during the 2017-2018 season.
Played in four of the Pars Betfred Cup matches in 2019-2020 including all 120 minutes at Celtic Park. Only made one start after that and was loaned out to Queens Park in January 2020.
