Signed on a two and a half years deal from Airdrieonians on 14th January 2021.
When he was loaned back to Airdrieonians a year later he had started 17 Dunfermline games and been used as a substitute in three. His loan was until the end of season 2021-2022 after which he returned to Dunfermline.
Brought up in East Kilbride, Kyle started his football at the Scotland club in Hamilton before being invited to join Motherwell at under 10 level.
He joined Airdrieonians in July 2019 and made 29 appearances in his first season, 28 of those in the starting eleven. This season he has been almost ever present, starting 12 of a possible 15 Airdrie games.
Kyle was to return to Airdrie on loan, for the rest of the season, once the SPFL League 1 temporary suspension was lifted but in an effort to balance the squad it was Kyle Turner who was loaned back to Airdrie for the remainder of the 2020-2021 season.
As at 24th January 2022 Kyle had started 17 Dunfermline games and used as a substitute in three.
