On Sunday 20 August, Sheena Assiph, Alison West and Julie Brown (aka the Dancing Divas) covered the 20 miles from St Andrews to Dundee in the 2023 Kiltwalk, to raise funds for Dunfermline Athletic Disabled Supporters’ Club (DADSC).
The Divas have no connection at all with Dunfermline or the Pars, except that the DADSC Secretary (John Simpson) is a friend and fellow-dancer at the Ceroc dance group in Dundee. The Divas wanted to help DADSC in its aim of getting access to the 1st Floor function suites at KDM Group East End Park for wheelchair users and people with mobility problems.
An astonishing £2000+ has been donated already by the Ceroc dance community and Pars fans, and more money will be added to this by HMRC Gift Aid.
