Over fourteen thousand pounds was raised at the highlight event of the Pars social calendar on Saturday evening. A fantastic night was had by all, with special guest Craig Brewster sharing his memories of his time at the club with BBC Scotland’s Brian McLauchlin. A number of musical acts had everyone on their feet before an auction and raffle rounded off the night.
Dunfermline Athletic Vice-Chairman Billy Braisby commented, “I’d like to start by thanking everyone who attended this weekend. The backing our fans and sponsors continue to give us is outstanding. We hope everyone enjoyed the night and it was great to see James, his staff and players in attendance too. It was also a delight to welcome back Craig Brewster. The affection the supporters have for Craig was clear to see and it was lovely to hear the warmth in which he spoke of his time at the club, as well as about his enjoyment of watching the Pars win earlier that day.
Lastly these events take a huge amount of work to pull together, so another massive thanks to the Black and White Ball committee for their efforts. ”
Next year’s event will take place on Saturday 26th October 2024, so keep the diary free ahead of what will be another fantastic event. Tickets will be released closer to the time.
