Dunfermline Athletic

We Will Remember Them Together

Saturday, 4th Nov 2017

This afternoon the players, fans and officials of both Falkirk FC and Dunfermline Athletic FC will come together to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

We will be joined by representatives of Legion Scotland and Poppy Scotland as Falkirk FC Chairman, Margaret Lang and Dunfermline Athletic FC Chairman, Ross McArthur lay a wreath at the Brockville Gate following which we will pause for a moment of silence.

We are joined together this afternoon for a match which is set to cause great excitement, intensity and of course, rivalry. These are the games which we all look forward to and are often the first we look for when the fixtures are released in June. There is certain to be a terrific atmosphere inside the Falkirk Stadium come kick off and whilst both clubs encourage this it is also important to remember that there are lines that cannot be crossed.

This message goes to both sets of supporters. Enjoy the match, support your team and let’s make it a spectacle to remember for all the right reasons.

Dunfermline Athletic FC & Falkirk FC.
