Tours for Schools: Inverkeithing PS

DAFC appreciates the involvement and co-operation of the Dunfermline Athletic Heritage Trust in the management of this activity.

Inverkeithing Primary School enjoyed a fabulous morning at East End Park.

In class, they are looking at the world of work, and our School Tour takes them behind the scenes at the stadium to look at the large variety of jobs and skills needed to run the stadium.

Amongst others, they met assistant manager John Potter, Sports scientist Gary McColl, and also had their pics taken with the League One trophy.

Pupils commented on the variety of jobs, and even those who claimed they didn’t like football were impressed!

The ‘Pars Tackle Health’ programme aims to promote positive attitudes towards good health and fitness in primary school children, using professional footballers as role models.
