Centenary Club Car

Dunfermline Athletic are pleased to announce that the Centenary Club Lifeline has now received 783 new applications, and we remain on course to reach our ultimate target of 1,000. The new "Lifeline" initiative continues to go from strength to strength, not only in West Fife, but it has drawn support from all around the world. Members from places in Australia, Germany, Thailand and United Arab Emirates have all now signed up.

The worldwide interest continued this week with three new applicants being received from Norway! Former player and fans favourite, Vetle Anderson recently visited the Club for the league game against Brechin City, along with a group of Norwegian friends. He spoke to the Kingdom Club before the game and recalled his many Pars memories from the 1980's and received a very warm welcome on the day. On returning to Norway, Vetle and two of his friends who accompanied him to East End Park, Audun Steen Johnannessen and Odd Helge Johnannessen have now all signed up to the Centenary Club Lifeline too! Thanks to them all for their support of the Club at this crucial time.

A special prize of £2,013 will be drawn by the Centenary Club Committee just before the next home game against Rangers on Monday 30th December. It is hoped that the prize winner will be presented with their cheque at the game itself.

Both the Club and the Centenary Club Committee would also like to thank Steve Curtis Cars who have kindly offered a heavily discounted car as a prize for the new "Lifeline" scheme. Supporters may have seen the distinctive red Chevrolet Spark car being driven round the track inside East End Park, at Saturday's game against Forfar Athletic. The special prize of the car will be given away in a special draw on 3rd May 2014, at the Club's last home league game of the season against Rangers. We hope it encourages more people to sign up for membership of the Centenary Club Lifeline. Members must be signed up before 1st March to meet the criteria for the car prize draw in May.
