Sean Murdoch Post BK Hacken

That mistake is the difference between winning 1-0 and drawing 1-1 that mistake. There is no point in dwelling on it, there is a game on Sunday which is excellent that it is really quick.

Sean Murdoch may only be 21 years of age but he won the admiration of Scotland's press as he turned up post match to discuss his eventful competitive debut for the Pars. His mistake in 57 minutes that allowed Jonas Henriksson to snatch an equaliser, was uppermost in his thoughts:-

"We started brilliantly with an early goal and took the game to them. I came on and alright obviously the goal was disappointing. There is no point in hiding from it, mistakes are mistakes, at the end of the day goalies make mistakes. They are costly but the Manager was good, the players were good - they were just saying that you reacted well to that. they have been positive to me so it has been good. Roddy (McKenzie) just said to keep my head up and told me that these kind of things happen to the best of them.

"That mistake is the difference between winning 1-0 and drawing 1-1 that mistake. There is no point in dwelling on it, there is a game on Sunday which is excellent that it is really quick. You just have to look to that."

Sean lost out to a long punt from the left back position, Dioh Williams was running in on him but it looked as though Sean would just clutch the ball but instead it dropped to Henriksson who had a simple job to equalise:-

"It was a kind of freak goal. I didn't realise it would skip up that much to be honest. You learn from it and that's it. If I didn't touched it would have gone out for a goal kick. It is crazy but these things happen.

"We had chances, they had chances - maybe 1-1 is fair at the end of the day but we are disappointed having been up 1-0."

What are the chances in the second leg?

"Well we have the strikers and players who are capable to score over there. I thought they were good but we are much better than them. We need to score and take the game to them. It is going to be a big stadium and not the best of atmospheres but that might all work in our favour."
