Dunfermline are the first foots at Almondvale where they have only ever won twice; once in the SPL in February 2006 and once in the First Division in September 1999. Both times by just one goal to nil.

Neither side have hit the kind of form they had hoped for this season. The Pars registered their second away win of this league campaign at Greenock on Boxing Day and with Jim McIntyre`s caretaker era not experiencing defeat then hopes will be high to improve the Fifers record at Almondvale.
