 Aberdeen v Dunfermline

Premier League Record

Aberdeen have the upper hand in the Premier League games played at East End Park. That`s mainly because it took ten attempts before DA finally recorded their first home win over the Dons in February 1997.  The last meeting in November was a six goal thriller but it looked as though the Pars considered the match won when substitute Liam Buchanan put them 3-1 up with his first touch. But there were 20 minutes left and an own goal and a late Josh Magennis strike levelled the game.

The last time the Pars won at East End Park Mark Burchill secured the win with the only goal of the match. That was back in March 2006 and until last November that was the last SPL goal that Dunfermline scored against Aberdeen.

David Graham v Aberdeen

When Aberdeen were the visitors in November they were only two points ahead of their hosts but since then the Dons have picked up 27 points while the Pars managed only 11. With the Pars struggling at the foot of the table every opponent is going to be tough. Aberdeen are now in a contest with Kilmarnock for a seventh place finish in the SPL.

David Graham scores v Aberdeen

The last home win was against Falkirk back in May 2011 and no one will want to see the Pars go through a whole season without a home win.
