Dunfermline Athletic

Praise from far travelled fan

Thursday, 30th Jun 2016

"Your football club is second to none and the welcome I received was so warm and I can not thank you enough.

This week the club welcomed Paul Buet, an Aston Villa season ticket holder from Birmingham. Around fifteen years ago, he chose a team in Scotland to follow.....

It was Dunfermline Athletic Football Club and he has followed the team and its results ever since. Now, finally, after fifteen years, he had the opportunity to visit East End Park. Paul`s reaction was wow! He commented:-

"Firstly, thank you so much to David for my welcome to the club shop. He was very informative and we had a great chat about the Pars. I purchased a few items and I will be back tomorrow to purchase some more."

Paul an engineer working in energy solutions is staying at the Queensferry Hotel and he continued:-

"It`s a shame I missed out on last seasons £10 shirts and will miss out on the new shirt launch for that fact. So I just purchased a scarf and jacket. David gave me two previous programmes as a gift (please don`t get David into trouble for that) which I gladly accepted.

"Then I went for a mooch around and met the groundsman - pitch looks lush by the way and what an absolute gentleman. He gave me his time and we had a good chat, I took a few photos of East End Park and was absolutely made up.

"I would really like to praise David in the club shop. Your football club is second to none and the welcome I received was so warm and I can not thank you enough.

"Finally, I will be purchasing more DAFC memorabilia and displaying them in and around Birmingham, West Midlands, B6 6HE. My aim is to spread the Pars word around the Midlands.

"Thank you and please pass my regards on to all involved. You all should be proud."
