Margaret Ross - Tributes

A collection of tributes left online after the recent passing of Director, Margaret Ross.

DAFC CHAIRMAN, ROSS MCARTHUR

"We were all absolutely devastated to hear the very sad that Margaret had passed away. Her death, at a relatively young age, will be a shock to the wider Pars Family, as she had made so many friends over the years following The Pars. In recent years she has provided sterling service to the Pars Supporters Trust and the DAFC Board as well as many other groups such as the Former Players. Margaret was an extremely compassionate and caring lady, who fought injustice of any kind, and put in many hours of hard work on behalf of our club in recent years. She will be sorely missed. On behalf of everyone at DAFC, I would like to pass on our sincere condolences to Margaret`s partner, Tom, the rest of her family and all of her many friends at this sad time."

PARS SUPPORTERS’ TRUST, DREW MAIN

“Margaret was one of the driving forces behind the inception of the Pars Supporters Trust in 2004 and, after the successful acquisition of our club by Pars United in 2013, it seemed fitting that Margaret should take up her seat on the Board of DAFC on behalf of the PST. Margaret worked tirelessly for her beloved Pars, involving herself in several of the groups within the Pars family, not just the PST. It is testament to Margaret that the PST has become one of the largest Supporters Trusts in the country, never losing sight of ensuring the best interests of its members were always close at heart.”

There have been quite literally hundreds of tributes from football clubs, organisations and fans across the football world. Here are just some of them:
