"More of the same will do fine."

Jim McIntyre is hoping his team can start well in the home game against Clyde and build on last week's away win at Firhill:-

"It is a home game and obviously we want to win. They will be fighting for their lives and so it be a hard game and we need to approach it in the right manner."

Clyde are just three points above Morton who occupy the play off position with just three matches remaining.  Dunfermline travel to Greenock next Saturday and the Pars gaffer recognised that there would be plenty at stake in all three of his side's remaining games:-

"There is always something to play for in them; the two teams fighting relegation and Queen of the South will be wanting to stay in fourth place.  It is a three way tie but it is important that we take care of our own business then whatever happens, happens.  We must try and do as well as we can in the remaining three games."

Dunfermline will go fourth if they can defeat Clyde but they will be without Kevin Harper who serves a one match suspension and Greg Shields who is now doubtful to return this season.

The Manager confirmed that the Pars pre season will start on 25th June and they will be at the Austrian training camp at Obertraun from Friday 4th July for a week.  Obertraun is a "top facility, idyllic and perfect for what you are there for."

During that week he would expect to take in two matches against German or Austrian opponents, preferably on the Monday and Thursday but yet to be organised. That would be followed by a home friendly against Dundee United.

There was no news on contracts with the Manager being firmly focussed on the next match. He thought that his team "bossed" last Saturday's match:-

"We were the better team throughout and I don't think Paul Gallacher had one save to make.  More of the same will do fine."
