Despite being awarded the Man of the Match award, Josh Falkingham claimed that he had never been involved in a game like Dunfermline's against Peterhead on Saturday. Praised by his manager for keeping his head when clearly the opposition didn't, Josh was glad to get through a first half that he termed 'crazy'.

"I was just happy that we got the three points and the win that we deserved. Our lads were coming up to me and trying to keep me nice and calm but in way I was just telling them to shut up really because that was just going to annoy me even more!

"I kept my head, I was cool, but to be fair to Peterhead I think the first red card was a little bit naughty. You can see why the referee gave it because it was studs up. To be honest at the second, I would have been proud of that tackle myself. But when you sprint over, after everything that has happened and what the manager has been shouting - everybody could hear it."

Josh refused to repeat what Peterhead manager, Jim McInally had been shouting:-

"I will keep that because I do not want to start anything like that. The things that he was shouting obviously riled their players up. The player ran over and the intention was quite clear. I couldn't really see because it was behind me but the boys were saying that he sprinted from ten or fifteen yards and there was only one thing that he was going to try and do.

"I just fixed my shin pad and tried to get up but a few of the boys weren't happy. To be honest I just walked off and didn't really see what happened.

"The third one was a clear sending off because the referee was right there. No complaints from us and I was just happy to get the goal. That opened my account as well.

"Last week was really disappointing and the Manager had a few quiet words with myself and a few of the other boys. That can't happen again and I am just delighted that we got back to winning ways, especially at home.

"We know what teams are like and in a way it kind of made it hard until we got that first goal. Even though they had ten men and went down to eight, sometimes it is a tricky situation to be in. You have got eight men all sat behind the ball and some times it is hard to break down. I was just delighted that we got the breakthrough and went on to score some great goals."
