Saturday, 20th Oct 2012

"If we were 2-0 up and we lost two to end up drawing 2-2, I think we'd be just as disappointed as them.

put down his bottle of bubbly, the prize for winning the Man of the Match award against Morton, to say that the team did not want to be coming from behind every single week to rescue a point. Referring to the Falkirk comeback that was followed by another similar late show, Josh spoke exclusively to the website:-

JOSH FALKINGHAM "On the positive side it shows that we have togetherness, we will never back down even if it gets to 2-0 we will feel that we have a chance to get a point or even three really because I think we could have done that in the end.

"This week is a bit different compared to last week. Even though it is the same scoreline, when we played Falkirk there was a a big disappointment in the changing room after the game. This week is a bit different. For some reason, I don't know why - probably because we didn't play so well as we have done recently, we are disappointed in front of our own crowd. There was a real buzz about the changing room afterwards and it kind of felt like a win in a way.

"Today it was the opposite feeling - totally different compared to the last week. I am disappointed on the one hand but delighted on the other to get a point. When you look back on this at the end of the season, these could be two massive points."

Morton were aggrieved that Dunfermline were awarded a penalty because they claim that it wasn't a corner in the first place but the Pars were also denied a good opportunity when Ryan Wallace was deemed to be offside at a Morton pass back:-

Josh Falkingham v Cowdenbeath"During games you get things going with and going against you. They all add up and all equal themselves out. Morton are disappointed but I never saw the penalty incident, it was probably a little bit soft. You take that and you don't moan at a penalty given to yourselves. A few of the boys though were saying that it was a corner kick in the first place, you can argue that as well.

"If we were 2-0 up and we lost two to end up drawing 2-2, I think we'd be just as disappointed as them. You can see why they are going to be disappointed."

So its on to yet another local derby next Saturday against Cowdenbeath who had just shared eight goals with Raith Rovers at Central Park:-

"Another massive game for me against my mate Colin Cameron, I'm sure there will be a good tussle between us two again. I am really looking forward to it and another derby.
