On Friday 23 June 2017, Forrester Park played host to the Dunfermline Athletic Golf Day in conjunction with the Centenary Club Lifeline, 1885 Business Club and The Pars Supporters Trust.
20 Former DAFC Players including Ian Westwater, Bert Paton, Hamish French, Andy Tod, Kenny Thomson and Alex Edwards enjoyed exclusive access to the course with tee-off at 12noon. The teams enjoyed the afternoon on the course, followed by a two-course meal, raffle and auction hosted by Capital FM’s, Steven Mill.
Forrester Park also welcomed manager Allan Johnston and players, Callum Morris, Ryan Williamson, Paul Allan, Stewart Morrison and Jean Yves M’Voto.
Finishing on top were The Elizabethan, who won by a narrow 0.34 points, captained by former Pars defender, Jason Dair.
Vice-Chairman, Billy Braisby said: The event was a major success with nearly £6000 raised for Dunfermline Athletic Football Club. I’d like to thank all the teams who took part, our special guests, former players and the staff from Forrester Park who made sure it was a truly excellent day”.
