Centenary Lifeline nears 1000
The Centenary Club Lifeline has now reached the grand figure of 967 memberships processed to date, contributing £20 each per month into the fledging scheme.
Vice Chairman, Jason Barber (above) handed over a cheque to General Manager Ross McArthur and Director Jim Leishman before the victory over Brechin City on Saturday afternoon. The figure of £60,000 marks the total of cash that has already been paid into Dunfermline Athletic Football Club since November 2013. Having been launched as recently as 29th October, the Centenary Club Lifeline has continued to grow in numbers on an almost daily basis, with the initial target of 500 achieved quicker than anybody involved could have expected.
With the new target of 1,000 now only 33 subscriptions away, it is hoped this incredible figure will be reached in a matter of weeks.
The Centenary Club Lifeline are also organising the club's official Player of the Year event, taking place at Carnegie College Conference Centre on the evening of Saturday 10th May. Supporters have responded superbly to the cause and the event is now well and truly sold out, apologies to anyone who had not yet bought a ticket!
If you know anyone who might be interested in joining Centenary Club Lifeline, £10 introduction fee is available for each new person introduced who signs up to the scheme. Online applications can be made here: http://www.pars-united.com/cclifeline/join-here/ or paper application forms are available from East End Park.
