Athletic reach Co-op Final
The Co-operative Local Fund distributes to good causes in the local community the money "earned" by the Co-op in the sale of 5p bags and the savings from reduced plastic bag use.
Dunfermline Athletic Heritage Trust submitted an application to the Fund, for a grant to help finance the building of display cabinets etc at East End Park to house their heritage artefacts.
After a series of follow-up questions from the Co-op we are now in the final, and the Trust is therefore assured of at least £1,000 - hopefully more.
There are three awards, 1st = £2,500, 2nd = £1,500, 3rd = £1,000
The decision on which award we win will be based on public voting by Co-op members, between Monday 16 November and 5pm on Friday 11 December. You can join the Co-op using this link, and I would urge you to do so, assuming you have a UK address. There is no charge, but £1 will be taken from your first dividend to cover set-up costs.
So please click VOTE NOW and use your social media and other contacts to publicise the vote and encourage people to become Co-op members if necessary and to vote for the DAHT project.
