The disruption caused by the weather is not helping Iain Williamson's route back to match fitness and the possibility of challenging to get back in to contention for a first team place:-

"I have been ill and I had a couple of injuries. Recently I was really ill for five or six weeks with an infection and it took a while to get back in. I have now played a couple of reserve games against Arbroath and East Fife."

Iain recently turned 21 and like all others at that age ambition is at a high level.  He is single minded and determined to take his chance at Dunfermline:-

"I just have to play well, train hard and keep fighting for my place. Against East Fife Jamie Mole and I scored two goals each. He set up one of mine and I set up both of his. We played quite well together and it was a good result after being 2-0 up, then back to 2-2 to win 4-2."

At the age of just 19 Iain played in the 2007 Scottish Cup Final for
Dunfermline when he came on near the end to replace Mark Burchill.

Rory Loy and David Graham have also been brought to the club, increasing the options but possibly making it even more difficult for Iain who has come through the Dunfermline youth set up, to challenge for a first team place.

"I train everyday with them. My aim is to get into the first team and to impress everyday in training. I suppose other players come in and can make it but I am determined to break in."
